Why not sign up to our network of people who support the CCG when key decisions are made about improving healthcare services.
Section 242 of the Health and Social Care Act (2006) requires all NHS organisations to make arrangements to involve service users or their representatives in planning services, developing proposals for service changes and decisions on changes made to services.
Your NHS. Your Health. Your chance to shape healthcare services locally.
Lincolnshire West has a population of over 240,000 unique individuals. All of these individuals will have used the NHS at some point in their life. Our communities, including patients, families and carers will also have a good understanding of their own care and health needs which can support us to make key decisions about the services we commission on their behalf.
NHS Lincolnshire West Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) aims to improve local healthcare services and respond to the healthcare needs of everyone in the area by ensuring patients and the public are at the heart of all its decision making.
Why we need to include patients and the public in our work:
We are committed to involving patients and the public in the design, delivery and review of our services. We have established a range of mechanisms through which patients, carers and the public can get involved. To find our more please select one of the options from the menu on the left.
A PPG is a group of patients registered with a GP practice who have an interest in the healthcare services provided locally.
A reference group to enable patients, communities, and the general public to contribute towards our strategic objectives.
